What's New at TripLog - October 2025

New Insights Pages in the Web App

We’ve reorganized your analytics for easier access and clearer insights. Previously, the “Performance” and “Trends” pages were nested under the “Dashboard” dropdown.

Now, they have their own dedicated home under a new “Insights” dropdown in the main side menu.

Smarter Commute Mileage Tracking

Managing commute deductions just got even more accurate and flexible. You can now schedule commute mileage deductions with effective dates, which is perfect for when you move or your commute distance otherwise changes.

Here’s why this matters:

Previously, if you changed your commute from 15 miles to 10 miles, that 15-mile history was lost. When you ran reports for August, for example, it would deduct 10 miles instead of the correct 15 miles from that time period.

Now, TripLog preserves your entire commute history. Set an effective date for your new commute (like the weekend you moved), and your reports will automatically use the right mileage for each time period.

Your historical data stays accurate, and you don’t have to worry about making manual adjustments!

Additional Language Support for French and Spanish

TripLog now offers French and Spanish language options during registration and login. We hope this makes TripLog more accessible to your multilingual teams!

Filtered User Lists in Reports

Finding the right team member’s reports is now even easier. The “Users” list in the “Reports”page in the TripLog web app now separates enabled and disabled users.

To see all of your enabled users’ reports in one place, you can select “All Enabled Users” at the top of the list. If you need to access a disabled user’s reports, you can select them individually from the bottom of the list.

Other Fixes & Improvements

  • UKG Ready integration enhancement: The employee ID field now imports from UKG Ready.

  • Added user consent requirement: If someone tries to add a user who already has a TripLog account to their organization, that user will receive an email asking them to approve the change first.

  • Activity changes now tracked in audit logs: When you change a trip’s activity type (like switching from Business to Personal), it now appears in the audit log and trip history.

  • Improved Current Locations page performance: The page now loads much faster by showing only your data (meaning the currently logged in user) and your last trip by default. You can still filter to view multiple users when needed, but the initial load is significantly quicker!

  • Clearer child organization viewing: When viewing child organizations, disabled or suspended ones now display “(Closed)” with a triangle indicator, making it easier to navigate your organizational structure.
