What's New at TripLog - July 2025

This month, we’ve focused on making expense management more intelligent and streamlined. Here’s what’s new in TripLog:

AI-Powered Expense Categorization for Bank Feeds

TripLog now uses generative AI to automatically classify your imported bank feed data. When you import expenses through your connected bank accounts, TripLog intelligently identifies and categorizes each purchase, saving you time and further reducing manual data entry!

Email Receipts to Create Expense Entries

Creating an expense entry in TripLog just got even more convenient!

Simply forward your receipt PDF to [email protected], and we’ll automatically create a draft expense entry with key details extracted, including the transaction date, amount, payee, and category.

Cleaner Expense Entry Interface

We’ve streamlined the expense entry experience in both our web dashboard and mobile app. Less frequently used fields like fees, locations, and reminders are now tucked under a “Show more” option, making adding an expense a cleaner experience.

Add Signatures to Mileage, Expense, and Time Entries

TripLog app users can now add signatures directly to their mileage, expense, and time entries. Learn more
