What's New at TripLog - April 2026

April brought another round of awesome TripLog updates. Here’s what’s new this month!
Updated Policy and Settings Navigation
TripLog’s policy and settings pages have been reorganized to make key controls easier to find and manage.
Settings are now grouped more clearly by system, policy, rule, and feature area, making it easier for users and admins to navigate TripLog’s controls, find the right settings faster, and manage global and feature-level rules with less searching.
User-Level Work Hours Controls
Admins can now manage work hours at the individual user level. Work hours determine how TripLog auto-classifies trips as business or personal based on when the trip starts.
Previously, employee work hours were either managed by drivers and controlled at the company level. With this update, organizations can set specific work hours for individual users, giving teams more flexibility when employees have different schedules.
You can adjust these settings in the web app. In the main side menu, navigate to Manage > Policies & Settings > Mileage > Auto Start Settings > Enable User Level Working Hours Controls and turn it on. then go to Manage > Users > Select a user > Mileage > Business Hours.
Driving Distance Prompt
TripLog now shows a prompt when a trip has a start and end locations but 0 miles entered.
Users can calculate the driving distance before saving, helping prevent trips from being saved with missing mileage when a route can be calculated.
Other Bug Fixes & Improvements
Fixed an issue that could prevent the bank integration selection page from loading properly.
Added an import tool that allows admins to update user email addresses in batches.
Improved report support for HTML receipt attachments. When receipts are attached in HTML format, TripLog now converts them to PDF so they can display properly in reports.
As always, thank you for using TripLog. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us at [email protected].
